Coast Crane Company is currently assisting KBR, a global engineering, construction and services company, to construct a new fertilizer plant in West Texas. Coast Crane has eight cranes on the project including five crawler cranes and three rough terrain cranes with capacities between 50 and 330 tons. The companies also have an on-site technician to take care of servicing the equipment. Upon completion, this world-scale fertilizer facility will produce approximately 670,000 tons of urea per year and 700,000 tons per year of ammonia supporting the North American agriculture industry. Coast Crane has worked closely with KBR, a leading supplier of ammonia process technologies. KBR has been involved in the licensing, design, engineering and/or construction of more than 230 ammonia plants worldwide.
